WordPress or custom development – which is more secure?
Custom, hand-coded development without an off-the-shelf CMS performs significantly better in practice: in 2025 alone, over 11,000 new WordPress vulnerabilities were disclosed, and the vast majority of CMS infections cleaned up by security firms involved WordPress installations. That's why we build hand-coded websites by default.
How long does a website relaunch take?
Simple websites are usually completed within 1–3 weeks; larger platforms with multiple languages or add-on modules take correspondingly longer. We clarify the exact timeline in the initial conversation based on your specific project.
What must a Swiss website's legal notice (Impressum) include?
Under Art. 3 para. 1 lit. s UWG, every commercially used Swiss website needs at least the full company name, address and a way to contact you; companies registered in the commercial register must also list their UID number. Our own legal notice shows this as an example.
Is an online price calculator legally binding?
No. An online price calculator always provides a non-binding estimate only. With us, a legally binding quote is only created through written confirmation after a personal initial conversation.
What does the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) mean for my company website?
The revised Data Protection Act requires, among other things, a clear, up-to-date privacy policy, clear contractual terms with third-party providers such as hosting or analytics, and a duty to report high-risk data breaches. See our knowledge article on revDSG for details.
Is a four-language website worthwhile for a Swiss SME?
It depends on your target audience: businesses serving customers across multiple language regions or internationally clearly benefit from multilingualism – that's why our own site is available in German, French, Italian and English. Additional languages can be added as a module when building a new website.
